Rymo Tech bags Rs100-lakh funding at IKMC2024
Hyderabad: Day 2 of International Knowledge Millenium Conference (IKMC2024) was a vibrant celebration filled with energy and engaging discussions. The day began with a roundtable on cell and gene therapy, followed by a storytelling workshop and another roundtable on operationalising the One Health approach. The audience was captivated by distinguished lectures by Prof Padmanabhan Balaram, Former Director of IISc, Anuradha Acharya, CEO of Mapmygenome, and Dr Ullas Kolthur, Director of CDFD, who shared valuable insights.
IKP continued its tradition of fostering global collaborations, launching the SheLeads initiative in partnership with US Pharmacopeia. The IKP@25 celebrations concluded with a valedictory session, chaired by IKP Chairman and CEO Deepanwita Chattopadhyay, alongside Prof. Balaram, HK Mittal (Adviser, Member Secretary, NSTEDB), and Sanjay Datta (ICICI Foundation), who shared their vision for IKP’s growth over the next 25 years.
The day wrapped up with the presentation of Startup Awards and Future Forward Awards, recognising innovative startups across various domains. While Rymo Technologies bagged funding of ₹100 lakh, Cartosense won the Rs50 lakh fund as part of the Future Forward Awards. A total of 10 innovators received Rs5 lakh each as part of IKP Future Stars Awards and 21 exhibitors were awarded a total of Rs17 lakh for their innovations and products.
